Tree Management

The Parish Council has commissioned an updated full tree survey of all the sites that the Parish Council is responsible for.  Attached below is the November 2022 Tree Management Report from AFA Consulting with all the associated maps and reports for all sites.

The reports identify what work is necessary and state a priority in terms of timescales.  The reports also give recommendations as to best practices for the management of veteran trees with the aim to retain the biodiversity and ecological value of the trees by providing habitat for wildlife. The reports also identified further trees suffering Ash Dieback at Forest Green and more work needed at other Parish sites.

Councillors will be surveying all sites In January 2023 and then start the task of scheduling works according to the time requirements stated on the reports.
