The Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) is a nationally important landscape, something everyone living in the area should be justly proud of.

The AONB currently covers Abinger Hammer and Abinger Common and extends as far as the B2127 Ockley Road. The proposed extension will extend the AONB to include Forest Green, Walliswood and Okewood Hill to then encompass the whole of Abinger Parish.

A review is now underway led by Natural England, and The Surrey Hills OANB Organisation is keen that people who live in and around, and visits the Surrey Hills have the opportunity to get involved.

The first phase of the boundary review is to gather evidence about the natural beauty of the areas that are under consideration for the extension. A website and a smartphone application have been developed to help you gather this evidence

Please use the below link to access the website, where you will find all the information you need to help you participate in this process.
